Laws of Puerto Rico

Our Political Code imposes on the Secretary of State the obligation to promulgate all laws enacted by the Legislature and signed by the Governor of Puerto Rico. By printing and distributing all laws, the Department of State fully complies with this obligation. However, we wanted to go a step further in our performance and allow the citizenry to access the approved legislation through the Internet free of charge. We hope that this joint effort between the Department of State and Lexis Nexis will be useful and beneficial to our citizens.
